Meet Your Accountant

Krisztina Szabó, B.Tech, CPA, CGA

Krisztina is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CGA) with a Financial Management Diploma from BCIT — earned with a specialization in taxation — and a Bachelor of Technology in Accounting completed with distinction. She further honed her expertise through advanced coursework at UBC before obtaining her CGA designation, which later transitioned to the unified CPA designation.

With well over a decade of hands-on experience in accounting, Krisztina brings an unusually practical perspective to her work. Before founding One Loop Accounting, she managed multiple restaurants on the North Shore for eight-plus years and oversaw business administration at a busy dental clinic. Those years on the front lines of small business gave her a deep, first-hand understanding of the cash-flow pressures, staffing challenges, and regulatory headaches that entrepreneurs deal with every day.

When she’s not helping clients navigate the tax code, you’ll find Krisztina spending time with her family, tearing up trails on her dirt bike, or — believe it or not — reading through the latest CRA tax bulletins for fun. That passion for staying current is exactly why her clients trust her.
